Sidedoor Studio is an award-winning design studio in Nevada City, California. Studio owner Laura Montgomery Waag combines the centuries-old art of letterpress printing with her classical training as a graphic designer. Using a restored antique Vandercook printing press, she crafts a variety of greeting cards and art prints.
Laura attended UCLA and
Otis College of Art & Design.
After many successful years
as a commercial graphic
designer serving clients large and small, she now creates art, greeting cards and other items for sale online and in shops local to her beautiful hometown.
